The M.S. in Business Analytics, offered collaboratively by the McIntire School of Commerce and the Darden School of Business, prepares business professionals with strong analytical skills, enterprise-wide business knowledge, and problem-solving expertise to utilize data in order to make informed decisions that support an organization's objectives. The program uses quantitative analysis techniques and evidence-based case study instruction to prepare graduates to solve business problems, support decision-making and strategy, and communicate complex analyses to executives. The curriculum will be highly integrated and delivered in a modular format. Each module will provide students with hands-on experience using state-of-the art analytical tools and techniques; the opportunity to tackle practical business problems grounded in data; and the business and communication acumen necessary to translate data-driven insights into actionable managerial recommendations.
The program's executive format allows working professionals to complete the degree while remaining fully employed. Equivalent program content is offered in different formats and geographical locations. Specific information about formats and locations can be found at https://msba.virginia.edu.
