    Chemistry Endorsement

    About

Nationally, a significant percentage of high school chemistry teachers are teaching the subject under emergency certification rules, and do not have a chemistry endorsement.

A primary target of this program are secondary school teachers who hold an endorsement in another area, and who wish to add chemistry. The endorsement must be applied for by the individual, through their state office of education.

In Utah, visit https://www.schools.utah.gov/licensing/endorsements for details. Outside of Utah please contact your local state office of education.
