The annual scholarship package (stipend and tuition fees) is approx. AUD $60,000 - AUD $70,000 p.a.
Successful HDR applicants for admission will receive a 100% fee offset for up to 4 years, stipend scholarships, valued at AUD $28,854 p.a. for up to a maximum of 3.5 years, are determined via a competitive selection process. Applicants will be notified of the scholarship outcome in November 2022.

Eligibility criteria
1. Good understanding of financial markets and finance theory.
2. Solid foundation in financial econometrics, specifically in volatility modelling.
3. Programming skills. LaTeX, SQL, R, Python and/or Julia skills are highly desirable.
4. Good verbal and written communication skills.
5. Prior research outputs/experience in fields of economics, econometrics, finance and or financial mathematics (desirable).
