The Australia Awards aim to promote knowledge, education links, and enduring ties between Australia and our neighbours through Australia's extensive scholarship programs. The program brings together scholarships offered by the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFAT), the Department of Education and the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR).

The Accommodation Scholarship includes:

  • Accommodation for Trimester 1, 2023 (15 weeks) at Student One Elizabeth Street, Brisbane City
  • A full bedding and linen package (including pillows, quilt, sheets and quilt cover)

Terms & Conditions

  • Accommodation will be provided for a 15-week period from Saturday, February 25th 2023 until Saturday, June 10th 2023
  • This scholarship is only available to Foundation Program and Diploma students
  • This scholarship does not apply to students deferring to commence after Trimester 1, 2023
  • Students must remain enrolled past the census date
  • Students must have accepted their offer and paid relevant fees by January 31st 2023
  • Students must have a valid visa and be onshore by March 6th 2023
  • This scholarship is not transferable or exchangeable in any way

How to Apply

  • Create and upload an Instagram Reel or TikTok video explaining why you are excited to study at Griffith College
  • Posts and photos highlighting your application journey will also be accepted. Get Creative!
  • All social media entries must be tagged with @griffithcollegeaus and/or #griffithcollegeaus 
  • Submissions will be reviewed and 10 winners will be selected by a panel of Griffith College staff*
  • Winners will be photographed with the Griffith College Director & Principal when scholarships awards are presented
