Requirements

Additional Requirements

The scholarships are available to students from Brazil and Mexico (at least one scholarship) Colombia, Peru, Argentina, Venezuela, Cuba and Jamaica (up to four scholarships). This scholarship programme aims to increase opportunities in STEM for women where globally, female enrolment in STEM-related subjects is low.

The award covers full tuition fees for the following one-year Masters courses:

  • MSc Electronic and Electrical Engineering
  • MSc Mechanical Engineering
  • MSc Engineering Management
  • MSc Construction Project Management
  • MSc Construction and Civil Engineering Management

It also covers an economy return airfare, a monthly stipend to support living in the UK, and a contribution to costs associated with securing a visa, NHS surcharge and other, similar charges. Additional funding is available for students who have children. Upon arrival at ARU, we will provide you with a £250 prepaid debit card to help you set yourself up in the UK. After starting the course, you will have access to a £2,000 Career Development Bursary which can be used to support your networking and fund additional training or similar professional activities to maximise your time in the UK.

You must be able to start your course in the UK in September 2023.

How to Apply

After checking you meet the academic entry requirements for the course and that you are eligible for scholarship, apply to your Masters course online:

You must apply for your preferred course before applying for the scholarship.

You must hold a formal offer from the ARU admissions team by 17.00 on 28 April 2023 to be considered for the scholarship. Successful applicants will be notified in mid June. All conditions of the offer, including English language, must be met by 23 June 2023.
