The Fundación para el Futuro de Colombia (COLFUTURO) and Macquarie University offer joint scholarships to exceptional Colombian students to undertake postgraduate coursework programs offered by Macquarie University. The VCIS is highly competitive as it will provide two scholarships of 50% of the tuition fees for postgraduate coursework degrees.
To be eligible for the scholarship, students must be a citizen of Colombia studying a postgraduate degree. Applicants also have to meet the following criteria:
Be a citizen of Columbia.
Hold a full offer for one the courses listed in the 'Applicable course' section below (single or double degree).
Achieve a minimum WAM of 65 or equivalent for Postgraduate (coursework) applications.
Commence study in the session and year indicated in your scholarship letter of offer.
Must not have received a scholarship or sponsorship from Macquarie University or another organisation for the degree (unless stated otherwise by the Scholarship Committee).
How to Apply
Students admitted to a postgraduate degree will submit a Loan-Scholarship application to COLFUTURO, following the application procedures and standard requirements established by COLFUTURO. As part of the application:
- It's highly recommended that candidates commence their application by the end of March at the latest to ensure they receive an offer letter from Macquarie for their program of study before 30 April.
- Applicants will be advised of the outcome of their application by the end of the second week of July.
