How to Apply
You must apply using the Commonwealth Commission's online application system. As part of the application, you will be asked how your inclusion on the programme will benefit your home country.
You will also need to apply for a place on an eligible master's programme at the University before you apply for the scholarship as you will need to provide a valid University of Bristol student ID. We can only consider scholarship applications from those who have provided a valid student ID.
You will need to sign an undertaking that you:
are a national of (or permanently domiciled in) a Commonwealth developing country, and not at present, living or studying in a developed country
have not undertaken studies lasting one year or more in a developed country
are unable to pay to study in the UK either funding your studies yourself or with the help of your family
will return to your home country as soon as the award ends. Award holders must return home within four weeks of the end of their programme after submitting their dissertation. Attending the graduation ceremony is not part of the award.
Nominated and reserve candidates will be informed by the University in Spring 2023.
