Requirements

Eligible

To be eligible for the Scholarship, applicants must meet all the following criteria:

Citizens of People's Republic of China (mainland China); and
Candidates who have received an offer of enrolment for, or are enrolled in, a Postgraduate degree at one of the following UTS KTPs in China:

Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT);
Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST); or
Shanghai University (SHU);
Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech).

Meet the UTS admission criteria for Master coursework studies at UTS by the application closing date of this Scholarship each year; and
For the duration of the Scholarship: full-time enrolment in the selected UTS Master coursework degree program.

Number of Recipients: Four (4) new Recipients will be awarded this Scholarship each year.

Payment of benefit/s

The UTS tuition fee exemption scholarship payment is made directly to the Recipient's UTS fees account in each session of enrolment at UTS.

In addition to the fee exemption Scholarship by UTS, the Recipient will receive a Dr Chau Chak Wing Scholarship payment of AUD $10,000/session by electronic funds transfer to his/her nominated Australian bank account.

Applicants submit an application for course admission and for the scholarship through one of the listed UTS KTPs in China.
