Additional Requirements
The main purpose of the Award is to encourage academic exchanges between New Zealand and the United States of America. The Inbound Award is tenable by students who are US citizens or permanent residents and who have paid the fees, or arranged to pay the fees, for full-time enrolment in a University of Auckland degree or Certificate of Proficiency (COPOS or COPEX).
Tenure: 1 year
The basis of selection will be: i) academic merit with a GPA of not less than a US GPA of 3.7 (where 4 is an ''A'') or a NZ GPA of 7.4 (where 8 is an ''A'') ii) the applicant's personal qualities, as outlined in their personal statement.
Up to three Awards will be available to outbound students, and up to three for inbound students, depending on the funding and quality of the applicants.
