Nominee is in a graduate degree program in a department within the Faculty of Engineering or the Department of Chemistry at the University of Alberta
Nominee is admissible to a graduate degree program
Nominees must be engaged in one or more of the following areas of research (continue to Area of Study #2):
polymerization, polymer properties & processing, polymer catalysis, reaction engineering, fluid mechanics, process controls, modeling & simulation of process operations, (continue to Area of Study #3)
heat & mass transfer, separation processes, thermodynamics, & other areas related to the chemical and polymer industries
The award is intended to assist with the recruitment of NSERC Postgraduate Scholarship recipients to the University of Alberta
The award also is available to recruit graduate students on student visas who hold major awards similar in value to the NSERC Postgraduate Scholarships
Open to Canadian citizens.
Open to permanent residents.
Open to foreign nationals holding Canadian study permits.
Open to applicants in doctoral programs.
Open to applicants in masters programs.
Open to applicants in course-based study programs.
Open to applicants in thesis-based study programs.

By nomination only. Students should contact their department for details on their application process. Nominations are submitted to FGSR by the Department (or Faculty). The Graduate Scholarship Committee makes the final decision.
