The awards are for:
new undergraduate full-time students enrolling on the first year of one of the above listed programmes for the first time in 2023-24
undergraduate students who have completed a Foundation Year at Birkbeck and will be enrolling on the first year of one of the above listed programmes for the first time in 2023-24.
Applicants must also meet the following criteria:
qualify for Home fee status
not already hold a degree or an equivalent level qualification
be from a Black background.
Eligible groups include the following:
Black - African
Black - Caribbean
Black - Other
Mixed - White/Black Caribbean
Mixed - White/Black African
Other mixed background (to include Black African, Black Caribbean or Black Other)
