Goldsmith Family Women in STEM Scholarship

To be eligible for the Goldsmith Family Women in STEM Scholarship, applicants must:

1. Meet the following criteria:
   • Female student
   • New Zealand citizen or International student
2. Meet the following enrolment criteria????:
   • be a commencing Swinburne student in Semester 1 or Semester 2, 2022
   • enrolled full-time in an eligible course
   • studying on-campus
3. Achieved a minimum ATAR of 90.00 and provide ATAR certificate as evidence*. Alternatively, provide an academic transcript of previous exceptional academic results.
   *If you believe your ATAR has been adversely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, and you had a reasonable expectation to achieve an ATAR of 90.00 or higher, please contact the Scholarships office for assistance with your application. 
4. Submit a personal statement (500 words) addressing the following points:
   • your long term goals and/or career aspirations
   • how this scholarship would make a difference in your life
   • demonstrated leadership qualities and/or extra-curricular service to the community
5. Provide two written references outlining your suitability for the scholarship:
   • Academic reference - from a person qualified to comment on academic studies, such as a subject coordinator, school principal, etc.
   • Character reference - from a person competent to supply a character reference such as a current or past employer.
