The Australia Awards aim to promote knowledge, education links, and enduring ties between Australia and our neighbours through Australia's extensive scholarship programs. The program brings together scholarships offered by the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFAT), the Department of Education and the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR).

Eligible

The scholarship is available to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander candidates who have been awarded, or are in receipt of, an Australian Government Research Training Program Stipend Scholarship, Griffith University Postgraduate Research Scholarship, Griffith University Indigenous Australian Postgraduate Research Scholarship or other Griffith University centrally funded scholarship.

How to Apply

Applicants who identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander, who are applying for the Australian Government Research Training Program Stipend Scholarship, Griffith University Postgraduate Research Scholarship or Griffith University Indigenous Australian Postgraduate Research Scholarship will also be considered for award of the Indigenous Australian Higher Degree Research (HDR) Top Up Scholarship.
