You are eligible for this scholarship if:
You have been affected by a national crisis or catastrophe in your home region.
You meet the admission requirements and are eligible to enrol in a program of study open to international students at UFV.
Amount offered per recipient
Tuition for 2 academic years (approx. CAN $12,000 to CAN $36,000 depending on status)
Room and board (UFV's on-campus student housing and meal plan)
Modest relocation allowance (if applicable)
Number per year
1-3 dependent on availability of funding
Selection Process
This is a competitive scholarship. While the University wishes it could support a large number of applicants, the pool of funding for this award is limited. With that in mind, UFV International will consider the following:
A strong overall CGPA (cumulative GPA).
An application to an eligible degree program at UFV.
Recipients must be in good academic standing to maintain funding for year two.
Note: Short-term visiting and exchange students are not eligible for entrance scholarships.
