- be domiciled in China, Hong Kong, Japan, Macau, Mongolia, North Korea, South Korea or Taiwan
- be classed as an 'overseas' student for tuition fee purposes
- hold an offer to begin any full-time undergraduate degree programme at the University of Nottingham in September 2023
