Requirements
Additional Requirements
There is one scholarship valued at £1,500 per annum. It will be awarded to a student with musical talent (voice or instrumental) entering the University for full-time studies. The scholarship is open to students commencing a BMus, BMus (Ed) or BMus (Community Music) undergraduate full-time degree at the University of Aberdeen in September 2023.
To be eligible to apply applicants must:
Be domiciled in Scotland and classified by the University of Aberdeen as Home Fees.
Have applied through UCAS to the University of Aberdeen for a place on either a BMus or BMus (Education) full-time undergraduate degree programme, starting in September 2023.
Have received and firmly accepted either a conditional or unconditional offer.
It is anticipated that the students receiving this scholarship will wish to contribute to the musical activities in the University of Aberdeen. At the discretion of the Head of Music, these may include concerts, graduations, and special services, but they will not impinge on the students' academic studies.

Applications will be reviewed and those being considered will be invited to an audition by the School of Music by 22nd August 2023.
