Midwifery Scholarship

The BSc(Hons) Midwifery and BSc(Hons) Midwifery (Blended Learning) courses offers a unique opportunity to apply for a scholarship that provides full tuition fee costs and a £6,000 bursary a year for the first three years of study at UWE Bristol, designed to widen participation in higher education and help people to succeed in furthering their ambitions.

This scholarship has a focus on applicants from identified diverse backgrounds and particularly those individuals from a black, Asian or minority ethnic background to be successful in a career in midwifery.

In return for this funding, we ask successful applicants to work with UWE Bristol to further support widening access activities which may include, but not be limited to, open days and other marketing and recruitment events.

Tuition fees are paid for three years plus a £6,000 bursary per year for the three years of study in addition to other financial support where applicable
