UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School is pleased to offer a number of scholarships which will be awarded to academically exceptional students who also have demonstrated leadership and impact achievements.
To be considered, students must be a graduate of an Irish Higher Educational Institution or will graduate in the summer of 2022. A candidate must hold a mid Hons 2.1 (65%) or above degree result or be in a position to achieve 65% or higher in their Bachelor Level 8 Honours degree and have completed their degree in full in the summer of 2022.
These Scholarships are for our full-time Taught Masters MSc Programmes only. It also includes our Master of Accounting.
The Scholarship is not open to those who have already commenced or have previously undertaken a Masters programme.
These Taught Masters Scholarships will be judged and then awarded to the applicants on the basis of their overall degree result (holding a mid Hons 2.1 or above) along with the quality of the two short essay questions the candidate has completed as part of their Scholarship Application Form.

Please note that UCD Belfield programmes run in conjunction with UCD Smurfit School - MSc in Biotechnology and Business, MSc in Biotherapeutics and Business and MSc in International Law and Business - are not eligible for Scholarships.

How to Apply
Awarding of the scholarship is based on an applicant's final degree results and programme application.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Late applications will not be accepted.
For students currently in their Final Year, their Bachelor degree average at the time of application must be at an Hons 2.1 (65%) or above / Hons 1.1 level.
We will award the Scholarships in the second half of August 2022. All decisions are final.
Successful candidates can be awarded one Scholarship only from the School.
A maximum of up to two of the Scholarships on offer can be awarded to a specific UCD Smurfit Taught Masters Programme.
If an awardee does not take up a place or accept the Scholarship, the award may be made to the next ranked candidate. Awardees that receive an award and subsequently cease study will be ineligible to apply again. The Scholarship award may not be deferred.
