Edith Cowan University and Edith Cowan College are offering an accommodation bursary to eligible Ministry of Education sponsored Omani students in 2022 intakes and February 2023 intake. The bursary is designed to assist students with the costs associated with settling in Perth, Western Australia.

To be eligible for this scholarship you must:

Be an international student

Be a new student commencing at ECC or ECU in either ELICOS, Foundation, Diploma, Bachelor and Postgraduate level at any stage between July 2022 and February 2023.

Be a citizen of Oman

Be enrolling into an ECC or ECU course for the first time.

Have an eConfirmation of Enrolment from ECC or ECU.

Be sponsored by the Omani Ministry of Education (in possession of a financial guarantee).

Maintain good academic standing for the period the bursary is paid.

Conditions

Be a new student commencing at ECC or ECU in either ELICOS, Foundation, Diploma, Bachelor and Postgraduate level at any stage between July 2022 and February 2023.
The bursary can only be used for one of the following accommodation facilities - The Switch, The Boulevard and Campus Perth.
Students will arrange their own tenancy agreement with the identified accommodation provider and will be bound by any minimum tenancy periods and other conditions within the agreement.  This agreement is between the student and the accommodation provider and entirely independent of ECU/ECC.
The bursary will offset the cost of accommodation within a student's initial tenancy agreement at either The Switch, The Boulevard or Campus Perth
The bursary will be paid directly to either The Switch, The Boulevard and Campus Perth.
The bursary is open to prospective students and offer holders. It is not open to currently enrolled ECC or ECU students.
The bursary amount cannot be refunded or transferred and can only be used once per student.
