Successful applicates will receive a support package worth up to £3,000, this may include:
- The performance athlete scholarship of up to £1,000
- Financial support towards competing in BUCS and international student competitions
- Team Hallam membership and Team Hallam kit
- Unlimited access to our sport and fitness facilities and programmes
- Personalised training and technology
- Massage and physiotherapy
- Sports psychology and one-to-one support
- Lifestyle, nutrition, and anti-doping workshops
- Preferential accommodation allocation
- Preferential offers with lower entry requirements
We will also support flexible study to help you balance sport and academic responsibilities.
Who can apply
We will consider any student or applicant who consistently performs at a high level in their sport.
Our decisions to award scholarships are based on the University's sports strategy and influenced by the number of applications we receive.

How to Apply
Applications for the 2023/24 academic year will open on 31 January 2023 and will close at 5pm on 18 August 2023.
You will need to reapply for the programme each year.
