The program brings together scholarships offered by the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFAT), the Department of Education and the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR).

Requirements

Eligible

To be eligible for the Scholarship, an applicant must meet all the following criteria:

Must remain an international student (not an Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen or permanent resident of Australia) for the duration of the Scholarship; and
Must meet all admission criteria for the selected Master by coursework program; and
Must be commencing studies at UTS full-time and on campus; and
Must not:

be studying a UTS online degree or distance mode degree; or
have completed academic studies in Australia prior to commencing at UTS; and
be a recipient of other scholarships or grants or the Alumni Advantage Program from UTS for the duration of this Scholarship; and be a government sponsored student.

Selection process

MBA (C04018) applicants only: Academic merit in the most recently completed tertiary qualification recognised by UTS or the GMAT exam.

Applicants for all other coursework programs (other than MBA): Academic merit in the most recently completed tertiary qualification recognised by UTS for entry into the selected UTS Master degree by coursework program.

Number of Recipients: Up to 450 new Recipients will be awarded the Scholarship annually.

How to Apply

UTS International will automatically consider all commencing international students applying for a postgraduate coursework program at UTS in Sydney for this Scholarship.  There is no separate scholarship application or documentation in addition to what is required for the coursework application.

Offers will be authorized by UTS International.
