The University of Exeter College of Medicine and Health is delighted to offer the Pro Vice Chancellor's NHS Postgraduate Scholarship, worth £5,000, to two NHS staff applying for one of the following Masters programmes for 2022/23:
MSc Advanced Clinical Practice
MSc Clinical Education
MSc Clinical Pharmacy
MSc Environment and Human Health
MSc Genomic Medicine
MSc Health Data Science
MSc Healthcare Leadership and Management
MSc Health Research Methods
MSc Sport and Exercise Medicine
Master of Public Health (MPH)
MSc by Research Medical Imaging
MSc by Research Medical Studies
(MSc Extreme Medicine and PgCert/PgDip and (online) are not eligible.) We are seeking to support individuals with a passion for their chosen field of study and an ambition to use their knowledge, training and skills to effect and ultimately lead progressive change. These scholarships are awarded as a reduction in the first-year tuition fee. They are not recurrent for subsequent years of study.
You can apply for this award if you:
are an NHS staff member and
already hold an offer to study an eligible full time Masters programme from the list above at the University of Exeter in the 2022/23 academic year.
We particularly welcome applications from those holding NIHR academic clinical fellowships, pre-doctoral fellowships, or similar, in collaboration with the College.

How to Apply
Applications for the scholarship should be made, once you have a programme offer.
You will be required to respond to the following questions:
Q1: In no more than 500 words, what are your career ambitions and how have you used your studies, work experience and extra-curricular pursuits to date to pursue them?
Q2: In no more than 500 words, how will undertaking your proposed degree programme enhance your achievement of your ambitions?
Q3: In no more than 500 words, what makes you particularly deserving of a scholarship and how will it make a difference to you?
Applicants for this scholarship will be notified of the outcome of their application within two weeks of the closing date. If you are offered a scholarship then your offer email will explain how to accept it.
These scholarships are awarded as a reduction in the first-year tuition fee. They are not recurrent for subsequent years of study.
