Requirements

Eligible

To be eligible for the Scholarship, an applicant must meet all the following criteria:

Must be an international student (not an Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen or permanent resident of Australia); and
Must meet all admission requirements for the selected UTS undergraduate program; and
Must be commencing full-time and on campus (Sydney). On campus studies include face-to-face and/or online (remote) learning applicable to all degrees except online degrees and distance mode degrees; and
Must have completed the Canadian British Columbia Certificate of Graduation (Graduation Program 2018) from a Maple Leaf Education System School in China no longer than one year prior to commencing at UTS, and be admitted to UTS based on this qualification; and
Must obtain an overall grade average of 6.6 out of 7.0 from English 12 and three other Ministry-developed Grade 12 courses in the Canadian British Columbia Certificate of Graduation (Graduation Program 2018); and
Must submit an application for course admission by 15th August the year before; and
Must not:

be studying a UTS online degree or distance degree; or
be a government sponsored student; or
be a recipient of another UTS scholarship for the duration of this Scholarship.

Number of Recipients: One (1) new Recipient will be awarded the Scholarship for Autumn commencements each year.

How to Apply

UTS International will automatically consider all commencing international students completing the Canadian British Columbia Certificate of Graduation (Graduation Program 2018) from a Maple Leaf Education System School in China and applying for an undergraduate program at UTS in Sydney for this Scholarship.  There is no separate scholarship application or documentation in addition to what is required for the coursework application.
