The School of Computing and Engineering offers various scholarship opportunities for Master's by Research and PhD applicants. All scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis. Candidates must meet the standard entry requirements for the course for which they are applying.
If you are due to graduate in the current academic year, any offer will be conditional on your final degree outcome.
Reapplications for a scholarship within the School of Computing and Engineering following a previous unsuccessful application will not be considered.

Therefore, in order to have the best chance of being shortlisted for interview, it is essential that your application is both detailed and complete to highlight all your strengths. You will be asked to provide various documents during the application process, but please ensure your application includes:
Your degree certificate(s) and transcript(s).
A personal statement (submitted via the online application form).
A two-page curriculum vitae.
Letters of reference.
If you are shortlisted for interview, we will send you additional information on this second stage.
Prior to application, you should identify a potential supervisor in the School who is prepared to support your application for a scholarship. This can be done by exploring our researchers on Pure and our advertised projects on Coursefinder. Your potential supervisor will also be able to advise you on completing your application.
