Students with a conditional or an unconditional offer on a PhD research programme at the University of Nottingham, or who are currently in the first year of their PhD are eligible to apply. International students are eligible to apply but funding is only at the level of UK home fees and maintenance grant. Each school may nominate one student.
How to Apply
The application form gives the process for its completion and an indication of how applicants will be assessed (attached).
Section one of the form to be completed by the student
Section two to be completed by two supervisors
Section three to be completed by the Director of Postgraduate Studies or equivalent
Applications should be submitted electronically to the key administrative contact in your school or department by Friday 28 April 2023 (Wednesday 3 May 2023 for Geography). Schools will then hold their own shortlisting panels and put forward their preferred candidate by noon on Thursday 18 May 2023 for consideration by the Researcher Academy's final selection panel.
