The Australia Awards aim to promote knowledge, education links, and enduring ties between Australia and our neighbours through Australia's extensive scholarship programs. The program brings together scholarships offered by the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFAT), the Department of Education and the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR).

Eligible

The South Asia Scholarship provides eligible international students commencing study in 2022 with a 15% reduction in tuition fees for the duration of their course.

This includes citizens of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Bhutan.

How to Apply

To receive the scholarship, you must be a citizen of a South Asian country and be commencing full fee-paying study of an eligible course at the University for the first time.

Eligible courses include:

All undergraduate or Honours coursework programs (excluding Bachelor of Nursing Hobart and Launceston; and fully online-only programs); and
All postgraduate coursework programs (excluding Master of Laboratory Medicine and fully online programs).
