Applicants must be enrolled, or intending to enrol, in a programme for an MForSc or PhD degree in Forestry at the University
Tenure: 120 points of enrolment by MForSc students and 240 points of enrolment by PhD students. The selection committee may recommend offering an extension of tenure beyond 120 points / 240 points of enrolment, up to a maximum of 120 additional points.
Selection Process
In making the recommendation(s), the selection committee gives equal consideration to: a. academic achievement and
b. financial need.
If, in any year, there is no candidate of sufficient merit for a category of scholarship, no offer will be made in that category. In such a case, the value of the unawarded scholarship may be used to raise the value of the scholarship awarded in the other category and/or to fund an additional scholarship in the other category.
