Together with The Bestway Foundation we are delighted to offer 5 scholarships of £26,000 (Tuition fees plus maintenance) to students from and domiciled in Pakistan, applying to our Postgraduate one year Masters programmes in Science, Technology and Mathematics. The Scholarships will cover tuition fees and provide a maintenance award for the 2023/24 academic year. Please note that this includes both taught Masters programmes and Masters programmes by research.
Open to students from, and domiciled in, Pakistan
Applicants will be shortlisted based on their academic performance
Shortlisted applicants will also be considered on the basis of financial need.
Applicants must have received a conditional or unconditional offer for a full-time, one year programme in one of the following disciplines by the deadline in order to be considered for the award:
Biosciences
Chemistry and Forensic Science
Computing
Mathematics, Statistics and Actuarial Science
Physics and Astronomy
Candidates must be available for video interview, via Zoom, to be held on the week commencing 5th June 2023, exact date to be confirmed. Please note that the scholarship deadline cannot be extended under any circumstances. This includes applicants that have not received an offer before 14 May. Please note this award is not available for students applying for PhD programmes, or Masters programmes that include a year in industry.

In order to apply for this scholarship you must have made an application for a programme of study at: https://www.kent.ac.uk/courses/postgraduate/how-to-apply/index.html.
Providing you meet the above eligibility criteria, you will then be able to apply for this scholarship via your applicant portal (this will open in due course).
NOTE: If you have not received an offer for your programme of study, the option to apply for this scholarship will not appear in your applicant portal. The scholarship deadline will not be extended.
You will be asked to upload a CV, and a statement which includes details of any financial circumstances you wish the panel to consider.
Applications will be considered based on academic excellence. Where students are academically equivalent, those with the greater financial need will be granted the award.
All documents must be in either Microsoft Word or PDF format, documents that are not sent in this format, will not be reviewed. Please do NOT send documents via Google Docs or SharePoint.
