Applicants must not have been enrolled in a degree programme at any tertiary institute.
Applicable Enrolment During Tenure: The scholarship is tenable during full-time enrolment in a first year of any undergraduate degree programme at the University of Canterbury.
Tenure: One year
Selection Process
In making the recommendations, the selection committee considers, gives equal consideration to: a. academic achievement at NCEA Level 2 or in equivalent university entrance qualifications (achievement must be at least at NCEA Level 2 Excellence level or equivalent) and b. strategic objectives of the University.
If, in any year, there are fewer candidates of sufficient merit than there are scholarships available, fewer scholarships are offered in that year.
