Applicable Enrolment During Tenure: The scholarship is tenable during full-time enrolment in a first year of an undergraduate degree programme at the University of Canterbury

Selection Process

In making its recommendations the selection committee will consider: a. academic achievement b. involvement in sporting, cultural and/or community activities and c. affinity with the objectives of the University of Canterbury Alumni South Island Chapter, as demonstrated in a brief statement required as part of the application. If in any year there are fewer candidates of sufficient merit for a category of award than there are scholarships available, fewer awards will be made. In such a case an unawarded scholarship may not be reallocated to the other category
