Additional Requirements
In partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign, the University of Northampton is offering two GREAT Scholarships for students starting in January 2023. The GREAT Scholarships 2022-23 programme, launched by the British Council together with 41 UK universities, supports postgraduate students to access world-class UK higher education opportunities. The scholarship programme offers financial support of £10,000 to students pursuing one-year postgraduate study in the UK. Students can apply for courses in a range of subjects, at the 41 institutions across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Scholarships will be open to target country passport holders only. In each country, scholarships are available ONLY in the subjects listed. You must be holding an offer to study your chosen course at the University of Northampton, before you can apply for a scholarship. If you fail to meet the academic or English Language requirement for your chosen programme, the offer of a scholarship will be withdrawn. The scholarship will take the form of a tuition fee discount and cannot be used in conjunction with any other fee discount. The scholarship holder will remain liable for the remainder of their tuition fees. The scholarship holder will remain responsible for their living expenses. Current UK government requirements require £1,015 in living costs for each moth of the course, making £9,135 for a course lasting nine months or more. Please refer to ukcisa.co.uk for details. The scholarship is non-refundable, in the event of a scholarship holder withdrawing from the course. You must be willing to act as an ambassador for UK Higher Education, by promoting the value of studying at a UK university and by becoming an advocate for scholarships.
