The Australia Awards aim to promote knowledge, education links, and enduring ties between Australia and our neighbours through Australia's extensive scholarship programs. The program brings together scholarships offered by the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFAT), the Department of Education and the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR).

Applicants must:

*Please note, this scholarship does not apply to Honours, Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma, Masters by Research, PhD

#Specific health degree courses eligible for scholarship:

be a citizen of Vietnam residing in Vietnam
have not accepted any other Deakin Scholarship
be a new student commencing their degree up until Trimester 3, 2024
meet the entry requirements for their course, including English language requirements
be studying an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework* Deakin degree (except for courses offered by the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Built Environment (SEBE) and Faculty of Health#). For these courses you may be eligible for our Deakin STEM Scholarship or Deakin Global Health Leaders Scholarship.
