Visionary Scholarship

For many students, applying to university can be a difficult and daunting decision. We work closely with our targeted schools and colleges to support academic attainment and progression to higher education. Inclusivity, excellence, determination and ambition embody our values, and we understand financial barriers can limit student potential. Thanks to a University of Greenwich alumni, we can offer two cash scholarships worth £5,000. These are paid in three instalments during the first year. We invite teachers/advisers within our network to nominate students who have received an offer to study a full-time undergraduate course starting in September 2024.

Teachers can nominate students who meet the following criteria.

• They are one of up to two nominations from your institution.
• The student embodies our university values and has overcome adversity.
• The student has applied through UCAS using the school or college centre name.
• They have accepted an offer from us to study a full-time undergraduate course (including extended programmes) paying the maximum tuition fee of £9250, commencing in September 2024.
• This course can be at our Greenwich, Avery Hill or Medway Campus (excluding the Medway School of Pharmacy).
• They have visited the university or engaged in preparatory progression activities offered by the University of Greenwich in school/college.
