    Established in 1966, Royal Jordanian Air Academy (RJAA) is a private college located in Amman, Jordan.With a broad range of degree programs, it offers a unique academic and culturally immersive experience for international students.

    Royal Jordanian Air Academy (RJAA) was established in 1966, RJAA stands as the regional leader in flight training, to become the first and largest flight academy in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
    RJAA is certified by the Jordanian Civil Aviation Regulatory commission (JCARC) which is recognized from the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), in accordance to European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Regulations.

    RJAA’s graduates have the opportunity of joining international airlines, which reflects the high standards that Royal Jordanian Air Academy (RJAA) has been known to offer. In addition to its main campus in Amman Civil Airport-Marka, RJAA has established another campus in the southern city of Aqaba in Jordan which has given it more flexibility in training its students all around the year.

    Study costs at the Royal Jordanian Aviation Academy

    As for the cost of studying at the academy, it is about 50-60% less than its cost in international academies, especially in Europe, and similar to its cost in America, although the latter manufactures aircraft, fuel and aircraft spare parts, while the academy imports aircraft and spare parts from abroad and pays the cost of shipping and customs.

    As for the specializations taught by the academy, the academy has aimed from the beginning to train young people in commercial aviation, as since 1999, the academy’s specializations have been increased in addition to granting it a commercial flight license that qualifies its graduates to work in airlines, as the study period is 18 full months, including (3) months in the English language, with 180 hours of practical flight, 59 hours of simulated flight, and about 800 hours of theoretical flight, as well as 300 hours of English before starting the study, in addition to training flight instructors through which the pilot who holds a commercial flight license is qualified to be a flight instructor and then an instructor for automatic flight, as well as establishing a department (air dispatcher), who are the clerks who They work in flight operations and airlines and are trained on what are the duties of pilots, the duties of aircraft, the type of flights they make, where and how?

    In terms of weather, navigation and timing, the academy has begun graduating groups of air traffic controllers in addition to flight instructors and commercial flight instructors, some of whom have worked in the academy itself and some have worked in other academies or even in other countries.
