The first year provides a wide background in animal science and utilises the animal facilities to develop your animal handling and management skills. The second year focuses on developing your knowledge of the principles and application of therapy techniques in a wide range of therapies, developing your practical skills, including utilising the onsite, canine hydrotherapy facilities.

This course is for people who might have current or previous experience working with animals. However, we also welcome applications from those of you with a desire to gain qualifications which would equip you to work in an animal therapy related industry.

This course is taught at Witney College, at the Common Leys Campus. You may need to consider travel costs depending on your proximity to the campus.
