Arts and Global Studies

The Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Global Studies double degree is built around deeply enriching local and international experiences and has been designed for students who seek to be leaders in applying their knowledge to global challenges.

The Bachelor of Arts offers you 30+ areas of study to choose from, including history, psychology, sociology, communications and philosophy, and provides you with an essential skill set of effective communication, interpersonal skills, empathy, critical thinking, cultural awareness and a global outlook.

With the Bachelor of Global Studies, you’ll learn how to critically analyse the global challenges facing cultures and communities, and develop innovative solutions.

You'll gain all the benefits of each degree course and be fully equipped to pursue a career in either field separately or to combine the two in your chosen work.

At the time of enrolment in a course at Monash University, you must be at least 17 years of age.

All Monash undergraduate courses require you to have successfully completed a minimum of an Australian Year 12 qualification (or equivalent) and achieve the required academic entry score. Most Monash faculties generally use your most recent studies for admission however other guidelines may apply where your prior qualification may be considered.
