The Bachelor of Arts offers you 30+ areas of study to choose from, including history, psychology, sociology, languages, politics and international relations, and provides you with interpersonal skills, empathy, critical thinking, cultural awareness and a global outlook.
Within the Bachelor of Media Communication, you will choose from one of four specialisations: Journalism, Media, Public Relations or Screen. Your core units will offer a range of practical experiences utilising the Monash Media Lab. Monash is ranked 47th in the world for Communication and Media Studies (QS Subject Rankings, 2024).
This double degree is suitable if you wish to pursue a career in media communication occupations across a broad range of domains, including government, corporate and NGO.
