    Commerce and Finance

    About

At its core, commerce explores how businesses and individuals buy and sell goods and services. For much of the world, that involves earning and spending money, making banking and finance one of the most influential sectors in the commercial world.

Commerce and finance share more in common than cashflow, though. They’re both defined by a quantitative, numbers-based expertise. They’re also both filled with analytical thinkers who are able to explore patterns in data and uncover new opportunities for prosperity and positive growth.

Choosing to pair these programs connects you to even more pathways to make that kind of impact in your own career.

    YOUR BUSINESS CAREER BEGINS HERE

The Bachelor of Commerce is a comprehensive degree with a clear focus on the data, numbers and quantitative truths that can be found within the world of business. Mathematics and data analysis will inform how you approach everything from business innovation to economic policy development, as you choose to major in fields like accounting, economics, marketing science, sustainability and more.

    DOUBLE YOUR OPTIONS

The Bachelor of Finance invites you to explore one of the commercial world’s most influential and impactful industries. You’ll become more familiar with the global banking and finance markets, learning more about everything from capital finance and credit lending to financial modelling and forecasting. This course helps you build the analytical and quantitative skills that are so essential for navigating contemporary financial systems - so that you can effectively manage, organise and invest money.

    IMAGINE WHAT YOU COULD DO

The quantitative and data-driven aspects of both programs complement each other in a number of ways. You’ll have the ability to connect the dots between commercial strategy and financial decision-making – and set you up for a range of career pathways that are about so much more than money.

You could find yourself working as a behavioural economist for sustainable futures, a financial analyst for a renewable energy company, an investment banker for an international banking group and so much more. The possibilities are broad and the pathways are filled with potential to make an impact.

Ready to invest in a commercial career that’s filled with opportunity?
