A PhD in Education takes the form of the Monash Doctoral Program – a PhD for the 21st century. The program enables you to complete extensive, independent research on an agreed topic under the supervision of at least two expert academics. Your research will aim to improve teaching practice and extend your expertise and skills relating to pressing educational issues. The thesis should make a significant contribution to human knowledge and theory, and demonstrate your ability to carry out independent research.
