Careers and employability
This programme prepares you for leadership roles across a wide range of healthcare sectors. These include clinical leadership, healthcare governance, NGOs, start-ups, consultancy, international development, research, and human resources.
You’ll also develop highly transferable skills—such as people management and entrepreneurial thinking—that are valuable in many industries beyond healthcare.
Throughout the course, you’ll explore global healthcare career pathways and gain the confidence to define and pursue your professional goals. Guest speakers, real-world case studies, and a diverse classroom environment will give you insight into healthcare systems around the world—building your ability to lead in international and inclusive settings.
You’ll also take part in a two-week nano-project, collaborating with a global industry partner. This is a chance to apply your skills in a real healthcare organisation.
You’ll benefit from tailored career support through the University of Liverpool’s Careers and Employability Service, which helps over 90% of graduates find work or further study within six months.
