About

The 25th Global Entrepreneurship Monitor report has found that the UK is a significantly more entrepreneurial society than it was at the start of the millennium (NatWest, 2024). This can be seen from the increase in the number of private sector businesses in the United Kingdom, which at the start of 2024 was estimated to be around 5.5 million (Gov.uk, 2024).

All big businesses and well-renowned companies once started with a simple great idea – take the first step towards a successful career either in business or as an entrepreneur with our business-focused master’s degree.

This programme will enable you to develop your broad business skills and build your professional identity, focusing on how to manage others, think strategically, and also learn project management. In the second semester, this course offers students the ability to specialise in entrepreneurship by taking two specialist modules.

This course is specifically designed for non-business graduates, so no prior knowledge on the field is needed.

This course is also available as an Advanced Practice option, where you’ll gain all-important work experience and professional skills that will enhance your overall employability.

A first degree, equivalent to a 2:2 honours classification

IELTS 6.0 (with no component below 5.5)

If you don’t meet the academic requirements

Applicants who do not meet the academic requirements but who do have substantial experience of working in a business organisation and/or possess a relevant professional qualification will also be considered. Pre-Sessional English and Study Skills

If you have IELTS 5.5 – 6.0, you may be eligible to join our Pre-Sessional English before starting this programme. This programme will help you develop language skills in a content-based approach to learning involving critical thinking, questioning, discussion, reflection and analysis.
