Prepare for a career as a cybersecurity engineer, analyst, or administrator with a professional certificate in A+, Network+ with Cyber Security.
The A+, Network+ with Cyber Security professional certificate is awarded after successful completion of three courses: A+, Network+, and Cyber Security Technologies. Entering the program with background in networking allows for an elective course in place of Network+. Most often, these courses can be successfully completed in one year or less.
Coursework covers the basics of computer architecture, use of contemporary operating systems, and data network technologies and protocols, as well as attack mechanisms, vulnerabilities, and countermeasures. Hands-on projects and discussions on current and future computer technologies are incorporated into the coursework.
