Speech pathologists assess and treat children and adults with communication and swallowing disorders. This spans across developmental and acquired speech and language disorders, cleft lip and palate, voice disorders and stuttering.
Course overview
You will learn and develop the necessary skills to confidently take on the full range of conditions that speech pathologists assess and treat including:
- Acquired and developmental communication disorders (e.g. speech and language, cognitive communication, fluency, voice)
- Swallowing disorders
