    Course Structure

    This course will run over 12 months in a full-time-mode. While the exact content may change, here’s what you can expect to study each term.

    Term one consists of three taught modules. These cover general topics in cancer cell biology, and how genomic analysis is applied to translational research for diagnosis and treatment of cancers, and how recent advances in our understanding of cancer immunology have been successfully applied to immunotherapy.

    The Cancer Sciences MRes is a one year, full time programme offered at the University Of Birmingham, UK and offers training to suitably qualified science students who are interested in research careers in cancer.

    Entry Requirements

    Applicants for postgraduate research programmes should hold a Bachelors degree and a Masters degree, with a GPA of 3.0/4.0 or 75% from a recognised institution to be considered. Applicants with lower grades than this may be considered on an individual basis.
