    Course Structure

    The MRes is a 1 year full-time advanced course, comprising lectures and a major research project. The course can also be taken on a part-time basis over two or three years.

    This term focusses on fundamental engineering and scientific principles. You will complete compulsory modules which underpin the accreditation requirements of an MRes in chemical engineering.

    In addition, you will have a choice of specialised optional modules. Teaching is delivered predominantly through lectures and tutorials, with assessment provided using a comprehensive mix of coursework and examination.

    Entry Requirements

    Applicants for postgraduate research programmes should hold a Bachelors degree and a Masters degree, with a GPA of 3.0/4.0 or 75% from a recognised institution to be considered. Applicants with lower grades than this may be considered on an individual basis.
