The University of Maine at Machias, the regional campus of the University of Maine, awards baccalaureate and associate degrees, and certificates. It is accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education as part of the University of Maine. Established in 1909, UMaine Machias is the easternmost university campus in the United States.
