Green. Innovative. Practical. This is the Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences - for over 40 years. Weihenstephan's tradition as a green training and research facility goes back to the 19th century and is today combined with the latest science and research to create a range of courses that is unique in Germany. On August 1, 1971, the Weihenstephan University of Applied Sciences emerged from the Electoral Forestry School, the Model Agricultural School and the State Fur School. A range of subjects developed from the original courses in horticulture and land care that today ranges from scientific to artistic, from high-tech to land art, from molecules to trees to landscapes. This is how we - with more than 200 years of experience - meet current challenges and demand from industry and business.
Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences offers courses at three study locations: in Weihenstephan (Freising), in Triesdorf (Weidenbach) and in Straubing.
