Overview As data proliferate and play an ever-growing role in our life decisions, the division between engineers who design algorithms and social science experts who interpret those data cannot hold anymore. The content industry via media, entertainment and culture, together with the public make an extensive use of Big Data and Machine Learning techniques.The Digital Humanities program from Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne offers a high level qualification in Data Science as well as in Humanities and Social Sciences, on a theoretical but also on an operational level in order to manage all the steps in the chain of rich data processing.
