University of Hildesheim in Germany 

The University of Hildesheim became a university in its own right in 1978 and a Foundation under Public Law in 2003 - one of the first of its kind in Germany. The range of subjects covers study courses in Educational and Social Sciences, Cultural Studies and Aesthetic Communication, Linguistics and Information Science, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Economics and Computer Science.

If you want to study in selected areas of science in a personal atmosphere and value both a good academic degree and a strong practical relevance, the University of Hildesheim is the right place to study. The university currently has over 8,700 students. Around 90 professors, around 470 scientists and over 270 people in administration, in the library and in technology work at the foundation university. The University of Hildesheim attaches particular importance to individual support.

The mission statement of the University of Hildesheim Foundation also includes special support for high-performing students. For example, 50 scholarships are being offered as part of the Minerva College and another 50 Lore Auerbach scholarships. The study grants support particularly committed students. The social fund grants students unbureaucratic help in acute emergencies. With over 560 student assistant positions, a wide variety of jobs are offered on campus.
