    How to Apply

    Making an application

Applications for an undergraduate degree at SOAS are made through UCAS. This includes those wishing to transfer from other universities. Fees applicable.

You can apply for up to 5 choices of courses on the UCAS form. You do not have to use up all 5 and the combination of choices should reflect what or where you wish to study. You might pick 5 different courses at the same university or the same course at 5 different universities, the decision is yours.

    Interviews

Once an application has been submitted, next steps depend on the university who notify UCAS of their decision. At SOAS an offer is made based solely on the UCAS application form, we do not interview candidates.
For further information, see UCAS Undergraduate: when to apply.

    Level of English language required

SOAS students are required to have a sufficient standard of English to study effectively. Overseas students are required to submit evidence, during the application process, of their current level of proficiency.
See our full English language requirements.
